Enrolment & Starting Childcare
You can book a tour online or give your local centre a call. Our friendly team will take the time to get to know your family, show you around, and walk you through the enrolment process step by step.
Some centres may have a waitlist, especially for babies, so it’s best to reach out early. We’ll let you know what availability looks like and keep in touch while you wait.
We welcome children from 6 weeks through to school age. Our age-based rooms and programs are designed to support each stage of your child’s development, from babies to toddlers and preschoolers.

Understanding Child Care Subsidy (CCS)
The CCS is a government subsidy that helps cover the cost of early learning and care. It’s based on your family income, activity level, and the number of days your child attends.

Yes. Once you start the enrolment process, we’ll help you confirm your details with Centrelink and answer any questions along the way.
That depends on your CCS percentage. Your Centre Manager can provide a personalised quote based on your family’s situation and booking pattern.
Day-to-Day Life at Aussie Kindies
Each day is thoughtfully planned to include fun, play-based learning experiences, time outdoors, group activities, nutritious meals, and rest time. We follow your child’s lead while gently guiding them through a familiar daily rhythm.
We provide nappies, wipes, sunscreen, and meals. All you need to pack is a spare change of clothes, a hat, and anything your child might need for comfort.
Yes. In our baby rooms, we work closely with families to follow each child’s feeding, sleeping, and care routines, just like at home.
Yes, rest and relaxation are part of the daily program. For older children, this might be a quiet rest or calming activity, depending on their needs.
Learning, Development & School Readiness
We follow Affinity Education’s exclusive Lifelong Learning Curriculum, designed to support your child’s development from birth through to school age. It’s backed by research and aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework.
Our Kindergarten and Preschool Program helps children build confidence, independence and a love for learning. We focus on literacy, numeracy, social skills, and emotional development to help your child feel ready for their next big step.
Yes. You’ll receive updates through our secure app, including photos, daily activities, and learning stories. Our educators are always happy to chat and share how your child is going.

Meals & Nutrition
Yes, all meals and snacks are provided, freshly made onsite each day by our centre cook.
Our Healthy Seasonal Menu includes a variety of fresh, nutritious meals with plenty of fruits, veggies, wholegrains and protein. It’s designed to support healthy growth and development.
Yes. Children with allergies or dietary needs are clearly identified with placemats and Food ID cards, and our kitchen team follows strict safety guidelines.

Safety, Health & Hygiene
Your child’s safety is always our number one priority. We have secure entry systems, strict supervision policies, monthly emergency drills with Safety Bear, sun safety routines, and regular safety checks at every centre.
If your child becomes unwell during the day, we’ll call you to pick them up. We kindly ask that unwell children stay home to help keep everyone healthy.
Yes, with written permission from a parent or doctor. Medications are stored securely and only administered by trained educators.
Our team follows a thorough cleaning routine each day, including regular sanitising of toys, bathrooms and high-touch areas. Handwashing and hygiene are part of our everyday learning, too.
Staying Connected
We use a secure app to send you updates throughout the day, including photos, meal info, nap times and fun learning moments.
Of course. We love connecting with families and are always here for a chat at drop-off or pick-up. You can also arrange a catch-up anytime.
Yes! We run fun events and celebrations throughout the year, and love having families involved in centre life.
Fees, Public Holidays & Other Info
No, we’re closed on public holidays.
You’ll still be charged for absences, but the Child Care Subsidy covers up to 42 allowable absence days each financial year.
Many of our centres offer extras like music, sport, yoga or sustainability activities, which are included in your daily fee.
Yes, all our educators hold or are working towards recognised early childhood qualifications. They also take part in ongoing training through the Affinity Learning Academy.
