Aussie Wildlife Champions

Learning About Aussie Animals, the Fun Way

At Aussie Kindies Early Learning, we believe in fostering a deep connection to nature and wildlife from an early age. That’s why we offer Aussie Wildlife Champions, an exclusive educational program designed for children aged 3-5 years as part of our Lifelong Learning Curriculum School Readiness Program.

Why Conservation Education Matters

Australia is home to some of the world’s most unique and endangered wildlife, with many species found nowhere else on Earth. Teaching children about these animals and their habitats helps create a generation that understands and values environmental conservation.

Through Aussie Wildlife Champions, children develop:

  • An understanding of Australia’s unique ecosystems and native animals
  • A sense of responsibility for protecting wildlife and natural habitats
  • Critical thinking skills through interactive learning and exploration
  • A deep appreciation for nature, inspiring a lifelong commitment to the environment

What Children Learn in Aussie Wildlife Champions

The program consists of three engaging units that immerse children in the world of wildlife conservation. They will learn about 18 iconic Australian animals, including:

  • Koalas – Why are they vulnerable, and how can we help?
  • Green Tree Frogs – What makes them unique in their environment?
  • Kookaburras – How do they communicate, and why are they important to the ecosystem?
  • And many more!

Throughout the program, children explore key conservation questions such as:

  • What does this animal look like?
  • Where does it live, and what does its habitat look like?
  • How does it grow and reproduce?
  • What are the threats to its survival, and how can we help?
