You’ll find us at 23 Barden Road, Gilgandra, providing early learning and care for children aged 0–5 years, Monday to Friday from 6:30am to 6:30pm.
At Aussie Kindies Gilgandra, we pride ourselves on offering a small, safe, and inclusive environment where every child feels seen, supported, and celebrated. Our passionate educators are dedicated to nurturing each child’s development, with strong community ties and a genuine love for what they do.
Our centre is filled with opportunities for learning, creativity, and connection — from outdoor play and hands-on sustainability projects to helping care for our friendly pet budgerigars. We also enjoy regular visits from local school groups and emergency services, and we work closely with Barnardos and Gilgandra Public School to support families in our community.
With fresh, nutritious meals prepared onsite, multicultural educators, and engaging learning experiences tailored to each age and stage, we’re here to help your child grow in confidence and curiosity — all while having fun.

Hi, my name is Veronica Sutherland, and I am the Centre Director at Aussie Kindies Gilgandra. I hold a Diploma in Children's Services and have worked in child care for over 17 years now.

Nurturing Growth from 0–5 Years
At Aussie Kindies, we offer more than just childcare - we provide quality early education in a warm, welcoming environment for children aged 0–5 years. Babies (0-1 years)
Healthy Beginnings Program
Grounded in attachment theory and the Circle of Security, this program focuses on building secure, responsive relationships between babies and their educators. With nurturing care and emotional attunement, we support babies’ overall wellbeing and development.
Toddlers (1-3 years)
Early Experiences Program
Inspired by the Abecedarian Approach, our toddler program emphasises language-rich interactions, such as conversational reading and learning games. These early experiences build the foundations for strong communication, social skills, and cognitive growth.
Preschool or Kindergarten (3-5 years)
School Readiness Program
Through Project-Based Learning, children are encouraged to explore big ideas, solve problems, and collaborate with others. This hands-on, inquiry-driven approach develops critical thinking, independence, and a love of learning that lasts.
