Meet Our Centre Manager
Hi, my name is Rachel Penboss and I am the Centre Director at Aussie Kindies Woy Woy. I have over 11 years in early childhood education and care and hold a Cert III in Early Childhood Education and Care and a Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care.
I believe children learn best through play, which is deeply connected to their sense of belonging in their environment. Building this belonging involves fostering relationships with both the child and their family.
Each child is unique, with their own growth and development path. Supporting their self-confidence and self-esteem is key to reaching developmental milestones.
I am committed to providing a quality curriculum and environment where children can learn, create, imagine, discover, problem-solve, and play. Inclusion, cultural understanding, and family involvement are essential, and I prioritize ongoing communication with families to meet the needs of the children in our care.
Here at Aussie Kindies Woy Woy, we understand the needs of our local area, from this we have developed strong connections with our families and our local community. We pride ourselves on our commitment to creating the highest quality of care whilst embedding a focus on safety and compliance. Our programs are developed alongside the children and fostered by each and every one of our amazing educators. We take a holistic approach and pay attention to children's physical, personal, social, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing, as well as cognitive aspects of learning. Most of all we have serious fun!

Lifelong Learning Starts Here!
Aussie Kindies' bachelor qualified teachers and experienced educators are trained in Affinity Education's Lifelong Learning Curriculum, Australia’s most advanced approach to early education for children from birth to age five. The Lifelong Learning Curriculum draws on the best models of early education, contemporary research and evidence informed practices such as Circle of Security, Abecedarian, and Project Based learning, and is based on what children learn, where they learn and how they learn. It aligns to Australia’s Early Years Learning Framework and offers a rich combination of play-based and intentional teaching experiences appropriate to each age group.
