Located at 33 Short Street, Stanthorpe, our centre offers quality early learning and care for children aged 0–5 years, Monday to Friday from 6:00am to 6:00pm.
At Aussie Kindies Stanthorpe, we’re all about creating a safe, nurturing, and fun environment where children feel supported to grow, explore, and be themselves. Each day is thoughtfully planned to give children the right balance of play, learning, rest, and healthy meals. With engaging indoor and outdoor spaces, a veggie garden, sustainability projects, and visits from Bush Kids, Sort It Out Sally, and Aunty Dolly, no two days are the same! Children also love spending time with Rango, our friendly pet bearded dragon.
We offer age-appropriate learning programs tailored to your child’s stage of development, including a government-approved kindergarten program that supports a smooth transition to school. You’ll also receive regular updates and photos, so you always feel connected to your child’s day.

Meet our Team
Hi, my name is Michelle Coleman, and I am the Centre Manager here at Aussie Kindies Stanthorpe.
I have worked in childcare for over 15 years, have been with Affinity Education Group for 14 years, and I hold a diploma of Early Childcare certificate.
Working in this sector gives me great pleasure as I get to be a part of children’s learning journey and watch them become thriving individuals who can succeed in their lifelong adventures. I am passionate about our Lifelong Learning Curriculum and how it supports the children to reach their full potential.
I love working with our parents to give them the support they need to navigate their child/children’s learning.
I am excited to be leading the centre with our highly qualified and passionate educators who are dedicated to providing our children with the best quality care. We believe in nurturing and being able to connect with our children and families so that they are confident emotionally and socially to thrive in their environment.

Nurturing Growth from 0–5 Years
At Aussie Kindies, we offer more than just childcare - we provide quality early education in a warm, welcoming environment for children aged 0–5 years. Babies (0-1 years)
Healthy Beginnings Program
Grounded in attachment theory and relationship practices, this program focuses on building secure, responsive relationships between babies and their educators. With nurturing care and emotional attunement, we support babies’ overall wellbeing and development.
Toddlers (1-3 years)
Early Experiences Program
Inspired by the Abecedarian Approach, our toddler program emphasises language-rich interactions, such as conversational reading and learning games. These early experiences build the foundations for strong communication, social skills, and cognitive growth.
Preschool or Kindergarten (3-5 years)
School Readiness Program
Through Project-Based Learning, children are encouraged to explore big ideas, solve problems, and collaborate with others. This hands-on, inquiry-driven approach develops critical thinking, independence, and a love of learning that lasts.
